About this event

This VR in the Classroom Workshop is a hands-on programme from Turab Academy built around real project work rather than slide decks. Participants start from the fundamentals, then move step by step through guided labs using industry-standard tooling, working on a scenario drawn from education, industry and smart-campus settings in Pakistan. Across the programme you will build a working artefact of your own, review it with the trainers, and leave with a reusable starter kit, checklists and reference material. Trainers keep the group small so every participant gets individual feedback during the lab blocks. By the end of the programme you will be able to explain the core concepts confidently, run the standard workflow end to end, avoid the most common implementation mistakes, and plan how to apply the same approach inside your own classroom, lab or organisation. A Turab Academy certificate of completion is issued to every participant who attends the full schedule.

Eligibility & audience

Open to university students, college and school educators, and working professionals. No prior experience with VR is required — we start from first principles. You should be comfortable using a laptop and a web browser. Participants are asked to bring their own laptop (Windows, macOS or Linux) with at least 8 GB RAM and a modern browser installed; any additional software is shared before the first session. Under-18 participants are welcome with a guardian consent note. Sessions are delivered in English with Urdu support during the lab blocks, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
