Turab Academy signs a multi-year MOU with GIK Institute

Turab Academy has signed a multi-year memorandum of understanding with the GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, formalising a collaboration that has been growing informally since our first joint workshop last year.
Under the agreement, both institutions will run joint XR research projects, open their labs to each other's students, and co-supervise final-year capstone work. An annual capstone showcase will be judged by a panel drawn equally from both institutions, with the winning teams offered summer placements in the partner labs.
The first joint project — a digital twin of GIK's materials-testing lab that students can stress-test virtually before booking physical time — is already in development and is expected to enter pilot with the autumn cohort.
Agreements like this one sit at the heart of how Turab Academy works: training is strongest when it is connected to real research, real equipment, and real institutions. We are grateful to the GIK Institute team for their trust, and we look forward to everything our participants will build together.
